Life’s Purpose

A lot of people search all their lives trying to figure out their “life’s purpose.” What if your purpose is simply doing more of what fills you up?

My life’s purpose is “service to others.” I truly enjoy helping people. I’ve got a unique gift of being able to hear / see a problem, understand the components, and connect dots that others miss or are unaware of (even though they are right there). This gift has allowed me to help countless people around the world solve their challenges and each time someone I’m working with succeeds, I’m filled with pride and happiness for them.

With that in mind, consider, what fills you up?

Perhaps you enjoy teaching, empowering others, exploring the unknown, family, culinary arts, animal advocacy, and the list goes on.

Your purpose can be simple yet impactful.

It’s a set of goals and a direction (like your personal North Star) that guides your life. When we choose to do things that are out of alignment with our inner guidance, then life lacks fulfillment.

If your life feels a bit out of whack, ask yourself if you are actually choosing to spend your time doing what fills you up or are you chasing a paycheck or doing what other people think you ought to be doing.

This is your life.

You deserve to life it fully and with purpose. Here are some tips to reveal your purpose:

  • meditate

  • journal

  • notice the signs

  • reflect on your childhood

  • ask other people

  • look online for ideas

Once you are clear on your purpose, everything seems to become more clear.

Enjoy the journey as you live into your best life.
